ABOUT ME

I love weddings and I love photography!

I have worked in and around the wedding/photography industry for the greater part of my life. I was eight when I got my first camera, and my cats were my models. Well, many years later, I still enjoy catching those most precious moments. Whether for family photographs or for a wedding, I strive to provide a unique photojournalistic approach. As the years have gone by, I have had the pleasure of expanding my portfolio to not only include weddings, but any other special occasion you would want to document in an image.

My professional work career started back when I was 17 at a Friendly’s in Peterborough, NH. From there I continued to work for the next 10 years in the restaurant/catering industry, working for some of the most recognized venues in NH. At the end of the 1990s, a car accident forced my next career change. I had basically grown up in the service industry so driving limousines was an easy adjustment, concierge on wheels, right. Well, it was a perfect fit, I was driving for my first wedding, when someone asked for something, I think bobby pins, I had some and became the hero. Whether it was a special anniversary party or a wedding, I thought I could be more than just the chauffeur.

There are so many details too putting together that magical event. Whether a small or large one, you have the gift tables, the restrooms, the reception, the ceremony location, the list goes on. With all the thought and planning, you hope for a perfect day, well anything can change that.

Being a natural helper, organizer, and detailed orientated person, I wanted to be able to help beyond what most would expect so I took a course and became a Certified Bridal Consultant, with this new knowledge I started promoting myself for hire. I wanted to be able to provide not only the logistical support, but also the education of etiquette and marriage formalities.

In 2006 I stopped driving and started coordinating weddings for a local limousine company, around the same time I worked with a local promotion company putting together fashion shows, I coordinated the runway shows, the models, as well as helped design and implement the event layout.

I purposely only do a small handful of events per year, so that my focus is on you and not so much about making that next mortgage payment. Because of this I have been able to keep my rates reasonable and are able to offer more customers the benefit of hiring a professional event planner or aspiring photographer!
